About.

Hi, I’m Sofia and I’d like to share with you my passion for business and entrepreneurship.

I hold an MBA from ICADE Business School in Madrid and a Masters in Finance. I have over a decade of experience in the business world. I run a fashion manufacturing company, manage production projects in Spain, collaborate with incredible designers from across the globe, and assist fellow entrepreneurs in overcoming challenges to make their businesses more successful.

But it wasn't always like this.

In 2013, I founded a B2B e-commerce company that catered to the burgeoning barista coffee market in Ukraine’s HORECA sector. After building a successful platform I sold the business in 2016 to pursue my passion for fashion.

In early 2016, my journey into fashion and manufacturing began. Alongside my partner, we developed our first range of customisable items, which evolved into a thriving online business. Our primary markets included the US, UK, EU, and Australia. We achieved an average growth rate of 20% quarter on quarter, and within 1.5 years, we ranked among the top 1% of best-selling companies on a popular online platform, amassing thousands of five-star reviews. Our team of artisans expanded, and we established a B2B model to supply premium bespoke goods to businesses. As an ethical manufacturer of high-quality products, we were well-positioned to further the positive trend of slow fashion and social responsibility. Then COVID-19 struck.

‘‘The fashion industry is made up of 20% creativity, with the remaining 80% manufacturing, finance, marketing, sales, and distribution—the business itself.’’

Confronting the challenges of the pandemic and recognising the growing demand for manufacturing designer fashion goods in Europe, we completely redesigned our manufacturing facilities and began working closely with designers and fashion brands. We expanded our premises twice, increased our team and capabilities, and attracted investors to facilitate our manufacturing expansion to Spain to complement our primary production in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The Russian war on Ukraine necessitated the acceleration and adaptation of our plans in Spain. Today, our company operates in a fashion industry hub in southern Spain, benefiting from the extensive knowledge of local artisans and a robust supply chain that supports the industry.

Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, I have experienced both rewarding and challenging partnerships. I’ve made costly and painful mistakes, faced cash flow issues and budget shortfalls, and learned how to overcome them. I’ve conducted over 300 interviews in the process of building strong and capable teams.

Through my close work with designers and brands, I frequently observe recurring challenges that they face.

One of the significant issues in our industry is that fashion entrepreneurs often operate in the dark. There is limited information available online or in books, and even fewer people to turn to for advice, especially if you’re not already in the industry. But even for those who are, it's challenging.

The fashion industry is made up of 20% creativity, with the remaining 80% manufacturing, finance, marketing, sales, and distribution—the business itself.

I’ve chosen to pursue my passion for both product development and entrepreneurship by blending my business background, technical design expertise, and extensive experience in production and financial management. My mission is to assist designers and fashion brand owners in achieving their creative and business aspirations.

Here’s how I can help:

  • Start-up Designers: If you’re looking to understand the fashion business, from product development and sourcing to manufacturing and selling your products, I’m here to guide you.

  • Existing Brand Owners: If you’re seeking growth opportunities or need help overcoming challenges with manufacturing, finances, or sales, I can assist.

  • Investment Seekers: Whether you’re starting a business or looking to grow—entering new markets, opening concept stores, or expanding into new segments. I can help you attract the right investment.

The journey of an entrepreneur is full of challenges, but it doesn’t have to be confusing. If you’re serious about reaching your goals, I’ll work with you to help you get there.
